We developed our Vendor-Based Services solution to provide efficiencies in the consolidation of contingent resources provided by smaller, specialized firms. Our program enables you to work with small third-party suppliers in an efficient, compliant manner by outsourcing your vendor management functions directly to Synergy.

As an extension of our compliance process, Synergy works closely with smaller third-party vendors on our Clients' behalf to provide vendor consolidation, ensure program compliance and verify that the vendor's workers are classified and contracted properly throughout their engagement, including back-office support and administration.

Synergy's Vendor-Based Services include:

  • Vendor Compliance. Our compliance process is twofold. We verify your vendor and their team of resources are properly classified according to wage and hour laws as employees based on the supplier agreement. If the resources are determined to be independent contractors versus employees, Synergy initiates a comprehensive compliance process to ensure each resource is properly classified for their contracted project. Based on these results, Synergy determines the appropriate direction for the relationship throughout the engagement.
  • Contract Negotiation and Execution. Synergy negotiates and manages the supplier agreement with your vendor, including any applicable Client conversion fees.
  • Program Compliance. Synergy validates that all Client-specific program elements are completed by your vendor including:
    • Pre-employment screening - We verify pre-employment screening completion in keeping with your specific requirements.
    • Vendor management - Synergy manages the activity and work orders within your existing vendor management system (VMS) tool as needed.
    • Client-specific documentation - Synergy confirms that all Client-specific on-boarding documents are completed and authorized by your vendor's resource.
    • Insurance verification - We verify your vendor has the necessary insurance requirements specified in the supplier agreement.
  • Payment Processing. Synergy processes all payments to your vendor, provides reconciliation reports and serves as the single point of contact regarding billing questions or concerns.
